NIT Sikkim Hiring Post Doctoral Fellow and Junior Research Fellow Notification 2021 Details
Notification : Advertisement for the Post of Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) & Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in MeitY Sponsored Project. Applications are invited for the following assignments on a purely time-bound research project undertaken in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology Sikkim.

- Post Doctoral Fellow -01
- Junior Research Fellow - 01
Salary Details:
- Post Doctoral Fellow - Rs 54,000/- per month + HRA (if accommodation is not provided by the Institute)
- Junior Research Fellow - Rs. 31,000/- per month (first two years) and Rs 35,000/- per month (third year) + HRA (if accommodation is not provided by the Institute)
Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification:
- Name of project : Design of Efficient and Secure Internet of Things (IoT) Communication Framework in Context of Content Centric Network (CCN) using Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) – A Next Generation Smart Communication Technology
- Qualification : Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology or equivalent with specialization in Information/Network Security. Candidates who have submitted PhD thesis is also eligible. Having publications in SCI journal is desirable.
- Name of project : Design of Efficient and Secure Internet of Things (IoT) Communication Framework in Context of Content Centric Network (CCN) using Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) – A Next Generation Smart Communication Technology
- Qualification :
- a) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Sc. & Engg. / Information Technology or equivalent with specialization in Information/Network Security from an Institute of National Importance/ AICTE-approved University/Institution with minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA (out of 10) in both B.E/B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech. (For SC/ST candidates 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA)
- b) A GATE/NET qualification certificate is mandatory.
- c) Research publication in Information/Network Security is desirableQualification :
