Notification : University Grants Commission, New Delhi invites online application from Indian nationals for hiring the services of an Academic Consultant (1) purely on contract basis:

UGC Vacancy Details:

• Name of post : Academic Consultant
• No. of posts : 1

Eligibility Criteria for UGC consultant:

Educational Qualification:

Essential:

• First Class Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized  university/institute
• NET in relevant discipline

Desirable:

• Ph.D. Degree/Research Experience
• Excellent Communication Skill
• Proficiency in Computer Application 

Age Limit:

Not more than 35 years 

Salary:

Remuneration : Rs.70000-80000 p.m. 

Period of Engagement:

Six months which may be extended further on the basis of the review of performance and conduct.

However, the appointing authority reserves the right to terminate the engagement at any point of time

without assigning any reason. 

Nature of Duties:

• Assist in formulation of academic documents, frameworks, guidelines and reports

• Assist providing academic support, research input and other related work

• Any other work assigned by the competent authority

Important Dates:

The last date for receipt of applications is 31st October, 2021

Selection Procedure:

The engagement shall be made on the recommendation of a duly constituted selection committee.
