    TRA — Director recruitment 2022 for 01 vacancies in Tocklai Tea Research Institute Assam has been notified recently on their official website.

    Essential Qualifications : Ph.D. in Agricultural or Life Sciences / Natural Sciences ( Chemistry /Biochemistry / Soil / Agronomy ).

    Age : 45 years and above but not older than 58 years.

    Experience : Minimum 16 years of R & D experience out of which at least 7 years should be in a senior supervisory position. Years of research experience ( Basic and /or Applied) will be computed from the beginning of the career as a Scientist only. Experience in the plantation sector, development of technology and it’s commercialisation / use for the users/ beneficiaries and having International Exposure will be an added advantage. The candidate should be able to provide leadership in R & D to a team of Scientists and researchers and should be able to attract good research projects / funds. The candidate should have good scientific publications in peer reviewed /high impact factor journals. The candidate should have good exposure of national and international trends in R&D, should have exposure of working in different National/International Institutes. The candidate should be able to create a conducive environment for a high class research & development.

    Pay Scale : Level –16 (Rs. 75,500–80,000) plus allowances as admissible
