DEE LP UP New Employment Notification NEN-2025

Teacher Jobs in Assam Government Recruitment, apply from 15 February to 31 March, 2025 for Employment Advertisement released by Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam  in 4500 vacancy of Assistant Teacher posts in Lower Primary and Upper Primary schools of Assam. Interested candidate who qualified in Assam TET and CTET are eligible for the vacancy.

DEE LP UP Vacancy 2025

  • Lower Primary (LP): 2900 posts
  • Upper Primary (UP): 1600 posts
Pay Scale :Pay Band - 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”.

Eligibility Criteria : Qualification , Age Limit

Age Limit : A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2025.
 
Age Relaxation: The Category-wise age relaxation for different categories are as mentioned below:
  • OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
  • SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
  • Persons with Disability (PwD): 10 years 
  • Ex-Servicemen: 2 years

Assistant Teacher in Lower Primary (LP)

  • Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  • Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary School.

Assistant Teacher in Upper Primary (UP) 

  • Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
  • Graduate from the UGC-recognized University.
  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
  • Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

Science Teacher in Upper Primary (UP)

  • Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
  • B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University.
  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
  • Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School. 

Hindi Teacher in Upper Primary (UP)

  • Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
  • Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from the UGC-recognized University.
  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
  • Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

Other Criteria

  • Must be a a Permanent Resident of Assam.
  • Must be qualified in Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) and Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
