Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of January 1, 2024. Relaxation of age is:

    - SC/ST: 5 years

    - OBC/ MOBC: 3 years

    - PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification:

Candidates applying for the position should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized University, achieving a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. For (link unavailable) graduates, this percentage applies to the overall aggregate or 55% in Honors/Major subjects. Arts or Science graduates with Mathematics or Statistics as a subject must also have at least 55% aggregate marks or the equivalent in Mathematics/Statistics Honors (BA/B.Sc).

Departmental candidates and those from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes must meet a minimum bachelor’s degree requirement of 50%.

Other Eligibility:

    - Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to B of the Constitution of India and permanent residents of Assam.

    - Proficiency in Assamese or the local language is also required.

    - Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in computer applications and possess a diploma certificate in computer application with a minimum duration of three months.
