ADRE 2.0 New Syllabus, Exam Date 2024

Assam Direct Recruitment (ADRE ) exam for Grade III and Gradde IV post in Assam Government vacant post,  is set to be held from September onward. The exam date of 3 Grade post is set on 15th, 22nd & 29th September, 2024. The date for 4th Grade Post is set to be held from 20th and 27th October, 2024.

Yes, In the new ADRE syllabus there is negative marking for every wrong answer.

ADRE 2024 Grade III  Syllabus

Syllabus for the written exam of Grade 3 post is given below.

A. For Bachelor's Degree level posts:

1. The Question paper in each level will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only and for every question, there will be only one correct answer to be chosen from the given options.
2. The number of questions mentioned in the above tables for different subjects or topics are indicative and approximate. The actual number of questions in the question paper may vary slightly, but the total number of questions will remain 150 only.
3. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. The negative marking to be awarded for each wrong answer will be equivalent to 1/4th of the mark(s) allotted for that question. For example, negative marking for the wrong answer of a question carrying 1 mark will be 0.25 and similarly negative marking for the wrong answer of a question carrying 2 marks will be 0.50.
4. Selecting more than one option of a question will be treated as wrong answer and will be awarded negative marking.
5. Question papers will be in the following languages - Assamese, Bengali, English, Bodo and Hindi.
6. The date and time of the examinations will be notified in due course of time.

ADRE Grade 4 Syllabus

State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-IV Posts notifies following details regarding written examinations for the Posts/categories of Posts of Class-IV: 

1. There shall be two separate categories of written examinations –(i) for Posts/categories of Posts for Read upto Class VIII category and (ii) for Posts/categories of Posts for HSLC (Class Ten) passed or equivalent examination passed category including HSLC (Class Ten) passed or equivalent examination passed along-with ITI pass certificate in the trade of Wireman/Electrician/Fitter/Welder/Machinist/Electronics mechanic from Govt. of Assam approved institute. 

2. The syllabus of the written examinations for recruitment to the Class-IV Posts shall be in consonance with the Elementary School Pass Level examination of SCERT for Read upto Class VIII category and High School Level Certificate Examination of Board of Secondary Education, Assam for HSLC (Class Ten) passed or equivalent examination passed category including HSLC (Class Ten) passed or equivalent examination passed along-with ITI pass certificate in the trade of Wireman/Electrician/Fitter/ Welder/Machinist/Electronics mechanic from Govt. of Assam approved institute. 

3. The subjects for both the categories of written examinations will be as listed below: (a) English (b) Social Studies (c) Mathematics (d) General Knowledge (e) Mental Ability and Logical Reasoning 

4. The medium of language in Question papers will be Assamese, Bengali, English, Boro and Hindi. 

5. There will be a total of 135 multiple choice questions, carrying 1 (one mark) each, to be attempted in 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes). 

6. Only one answer will be correct answer for each question. 

7. Negative marks of 0.25 will be awarded for each incorrect answer. 

8. The date and time of written examination will be intimated in due course of time.
